USED OIL COLLECTION Preservation of our environment is important to Penner Tire and Service. We invite you to help us in our efforts to conserve energy and help prevent pollution by allowing us to collect your used oil, hydraulic fluid, and transmission fluid. We make this process fast, convenient and FREE for you. We will unload your containers of used oil and funnel the fluid into one of our UL listed storage tanks. Penner then recycles your used fluids in an effort to save valuable energy.
You can make a difference in our environment by taking your used oil and hydraulic fluid to Penner Tire and Service for recycling. Most consumers are familiar with the benefits of collecting and recycling paper, aluminum cans or glass. However, many people are unaware of the value of recycling old oil. Collecting and recycling used fluids prevents them from polluting our rivers and streams. When the Penner Tire and Service team collects your used oil, you are helping to keep our drinking water fresh and pure. Your used oil can serve as a valuable source of energy for homes and businesses. Used oil burns very efficiently. It can be recycled for use in utility boilers. Recycled oil can also be used for heating or generating electricity for homes, office buildings, churches, and schools. For instance, the Penner Tire and Service shop is heated with recycled oil. And according to the American Petroleum Institute, you can run an average household for almost 24 hours with the energy produced by just two recycled gallons of used oil. Penner is passionate about conserving our resources and has recycled oil for members of the Southern Indiana community since 2012. Rather than taking your used oil and vehicle fluids to a parts store or service station, take your used fluids to Penner Tire and Service for recycling. We are happy to collect the used oil and fluids from your car, truck, boat, motorcycle or lawn mower and put them to good use by recycling them. By partnering with Penner Tire and Service to recycle your oil, you are doing your part to create a healthier environment for future generations. |
